Nonius lower part with lock CD
The element is designed for installation of the nonius suspension system, for constructing assemblies requiring fire resistance and higher load capacity, and for installation into a CD drywall profile measuring 60x27 mm.
The lower part of the nonius assembly is used as an anchoring element for securing CD 60 drywall steel profiles to the building’s rigid structure in a horizontal system. It is manufactured by stamping galvanized sheet metal with a thickness of 1.00 mm and includes two side holes for screws, allowing higher load capacity. Nonius hangers are used in systems requiring higher load capacity, fire resistance, and buckling strength. The assembly always consists of an upper part, a lower part, and a locking pin. The part is mounted by twisting it into the profile in a horizontal position and then lifting it upright. Self-drilling TEX screws can be used to further secure the part to the profile, increasing its strength.
